Sick of Spam Programs with Headlines and Banner Ads?

The minute you see something for FREE, you may find yourself asking the question, "will it be riddled with those flashing headlines, or banner ads."  in most cases, the answer will be "YES."  But that's not the case with spamBat.  Whichever version you own, you will never see a headline or banner ad.  But how can that be?

Headline and banner ads were designed to do two things:

1. Pay for the software so the consumer doesn't have to.  Someone has to pay for the software program.  If it's not you, then it will have to be an advertiser.  In affect, the advertiser is subsidizing the cost of the software program, and in exchange for doing this, the advertiser can place a headline or banner ad with the program.

2. Collect information from the person using the program.  Most people are not aware that when they use a program that has those headlines and banner ads they may also be providing personal information and surfing habits and other internet activity to a third-party.  Commonly known as spyware.

spamBat has a completely different approach.  We don't want to collect advertising money so we overrun you with headline and banner ads.  We don't want to gather data about you, or allow someone else to do this either.  We only have one goal: to rid you of spam!
